Welcome to Studio 424

This site features updates to the one-of-a-kind collection of knitwear designer, Julie Pongrac, and events taking place at Studio 424, home of Gossamer Knitwear. 

Gossamer Knitwear opened to the public in November, 2008.  In brief, Gossamer Knitwear was established to produce fine quality handknit wearable.  Each item is designed to be very lightweight and warm, with longlasting wearability.  Designs are intended to be timeless representing masterful craftsmenship and heirloom quality.  Considerable thought is put into colour selection and pattern choice for each item. 

More recently, Julie has been creating lacey vine and paper objects of art.
